Hommage à Barbara was named in honor of the renowned French singer Barbara (1930–1997), paying tribute to one of France’s most influential musical icons. Bred by Delbard in France and introduced in 1998, this rose embodies both beauty and history, serving as a living remembrance of an extraordinary artist.

Hommage à Barbara is an elegant shrub rose with a strong upright growth habit, reaching approximately 120 cm in height. Its blooms, about 9 cm in diameter, display a captivating deep red hue, with the outer petals gradually darkening into a striking red-black shade. The flowers form in clusters, with multiple blooms per stem, creating a bold and dramatic display. The ruffled petals, adorned with subtle black undertones, enhance its unique and eye-catching appearance.

‘Mini Eden’ rose is a climbing rose that has small pompom flowers with pearly pink cores and off-white edges. With an average of 2 to 5 flowers, the inflorescences can have up to 15 flowers which will bloom gradually. The flowers consist of about 25 to 30 petals and smaller with a diameter of 6 to 7 cm compared to other types of roses. However, Mini Eden roses propagate in more quantity as compensation for their size. It can grow to a maximum height of 1.80 m to 2 m and has a light scent.

‘Monica Bellucci’ rose has a unique blend of primarily red with yellow reverse petals. During cooler weather in Singapore, the colour can change to wine red or dark pink during blooming. It has a moderate scent of anise, clove and pepper mix. The average flower size is 11 – 12 cm wide with 50 to 55 petals. Borne mostly solitary and in small clusters, the flower shape has a cupped bloom form. The ‘Monica Bellucci rose’ bred in France before 2010 can grow up to a height of 80 cm.

Berthe Morisot which was named after a French impressionist artist, was bred by Delbard in year 2020. This hybrid tea rose standing at an approximate height of 80cm to 100cm has bloom colours of deep red, pink and stripes of silvery white. Cuppy bloom form with fragrance of fruity, rose and violet note blends (this is subjective to individual’s growing environment and weather condition as well). This relatively new id besides being a frequent bloomer, the flower size may range from 7cm to 9cm.

‘Emilien Guillot’ rose is charming with a colour transition of neon pink to deep orange. It has an intense fruity fragrance that diffuses scents of tea, rose, apricot and white pepper. The orangey-red shrub roses never stop blossoming in cuts of 8 – 10 cm in diameter and have 60 to 80 petals. The Emilien Guillot bush rose bred in France in 1997 can grow up to 1 m and a spread of 60 to 70 cm width.
