‘Shimmer’ Rose【微光】

Shimmer is a stunning cut rose variety bred by Kordes in Germany, also known as “Midnight Sun.” It features apricot-pink blooms with a diameter of 8-10 cm, displaying a delicate color gradient where the center is apricot and the edges are soft pink, becoming more pronounced in warm weather. The flowers have a beautiful cup shape with 45 double-layered petals, slightly wavy edges, and a light fragrance. This variety blooms repeatedly throughout the seasons, with sturdy, upright growth reaching a height of 80-120 cm and bearing few thorns. The flower stems reach about 60 cm in length, making them ideal for floral arrangements. A major advantage of Shimmer is its long vase life, lasting up to 12 days.

‘Golden Fairy Tale’ rose with yellow petals may have occurrences of red stains at the edges that are unusual traits of this plant. Producing large flowers of 11 – 12 cm on average, it has a moderate fragrance and bred in Germany in 1995. The ‘Golden Fairy Tale’ rose plant can grow to a height of 1.2 m and a width of 90 cm. The hybrid tea shrub rose has a good reputation for being disease resistant, particularly to blackspot and mildew.

‘Kinda Blue’ Rose

‘Kinda Blue’ rose has strong heat tolerance and suitable for our local climate. When given enough sunlight exposure of 8 hours, Kinda Blue rose plant can produce even more vibrant flowers. The growth rate of the hybrid tea rose is fast and takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get a new bloom. The flower pot needs to have good drainage as this plant does not like too much water. The fragrance of Kinda Blue roses is subtle to almost none. It got its name in Japan in 2015 but was propagated first in Germany.

The pink ‘First Lady’ rose has a lighter reverse on its medium-sized 7 – 8 cm wide flower with more than 40 petals. The large and round buds bloom in clustered-flowered and also flourish in many clusters with a cupped, globular and old-fashioned bloom form. The ‘Pink Lady’ rose plant bred and introduced in Germany in 2005 can reach to a height of 1.2 to 1.5 m and has no fragrance.

‘Pink Charm’ rose is a sweet pink Floribunda with a mild fragrance bred in Germany by the late Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II in 1938 and introduced in the United States as ‘Pink Charm’. The cup-shaped flower bloom form is medium in size, compact and has many petals. Pink Charm rose plant is fast-growing and blooms in flushes throughout the year with good disease resistant given proper plant care.
