Calathea Triostar botanical name is Stromanthe Sanguinea or otherwise known as Stromanthe Sanguinea Triostar from the Brazilian rainforest. Distinguished by its remarkable variegated leaves, it needs to be protected from strong wind and requires indirect sunlight. The notable variegation colour hues are lost when the plant is under full shade as the leaves become solid green. Soil should be kept moist at all times, but prevent over-watering to avoid root rot.

The Pinstripe plant has dark green and glossy foliage and occasionally paired with a lighter shade of green with a purplish-red tone on the underside of the leaves. Avoid direct sunlight so as not to burn the leaves or caused the lustrous creamy-white shades of Calathea Ornata Pinstripe plant to fade. The bright indirect light can maintain the gleaming colour glow and contrast on its foliage. Always make sure that the soil is never dry by touching the surface before watering it.

Calathea Eclipse does not require a lot of water, but the soil must be moist and well-drained. It does not do well in direct sunlight as heat can burn the leaves and cause the colours to fade.

Calathea Roseopicta Medallion is one of the most attractive and sought-after plants among the Calathea species due to its neatly well-defined symmetrical arrangement of different colour layers on every blade. Indirect light is required for the markings to contrast beautifully. It loves moist soil and water enough to prevent the leaves from curling inwards but avoid overwatering that can cause root rot. It will scorch in direct sunlight so partial shade will make a wonderful home for the beautiful Calathea Medallion plant.

Calathea Beauty Star, defined by its thick darker green feathered midveins and painted with a delicate lighter hue of green lines on its foliage, is native to the tropical Americas. The leaves curl up at night and unfold itself in the morning. Thus, the Calathea has another name known as the prayer plant. Place the Calathea Beauty Star in a shady place while still getting enough light.
