Calathea Rufibarba (Furry Feather)

Calathea Rufibarba has other names as Furry Feather Calathea or Velvet Calathea. Furry Feather’s name derives from its velvety fur-like underleaf texture which is rare for its species. Warm temperature, shade and humidity is a requirement to grow this Furry Feather Calathea. The flower colour of this plant is yellow and small. When night falls, the leaves will close and reopens the next morning again. The Calathea Rufibarba plant likes its soil to be always moist but beware of overwatering that is the cause of root rot.
