Calathea Zebrina

Calathea Zebrina has another amusing name known as the zebra plant as it has well-defined neatly delineated stripes that look like zebra. The leaves are dark green above, dark red below, the spines, veins and margins etched in lime green. Calathea Zebrina prefers a brightly-lit spot but does not tolerate direct sun. The soil should be kept moist at all times as it cannot tolerate drought.
