‘Ancient Mariner’ is an English shrub rose plant with pink petals fading towards the edge. Ancient Mariner rose has an intense myrrh scent. The cupped bloom flower size of 9 cm is large on an upright growth. ‘Ancient Mariner’ rose plant bred in the United Kingdom in 2015 can grow to a height of 1.25 m and a width of 90 cm. The naming of the rose was an inspiration from a poem published in 1798 – The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
