‘Sucre’ rose plant had won a bronze award in 2017 under the ‘Floribunda Roses’ in ‘The 11th International Fragrant Rose Trial in Echigo Hillside Park, Nagaoka Japan’. The fragrance defined as a Damask-Modern crisp scent of an elegant tea rose on fruity lychee base.

‘Sucre’ rose bred by Junko Kawamoto in Japan is a sweet pink flower as described in the French word ‘sucre’ which means sugar. The flowers bloom in a cup with a gradation from cream to pink, transited from a rounded cup bloom to an open cup bloom. Sucre roses can grow between 0.7 m to 1 m, compact and have very little thorns. Check also the Japanese pinkish-white Seraphim rose plant, the yellow Plume rose and the lilac Lucifer from Junko Kawamoto in our stock.
