‘The Endeavour’ rose that is almost thornless has salmon-pink with yellow reverse petals. The fragrance is intense with sharp, spicy, fruity notes. The average bloom size is 8 cm in old-fashioned, rosette bloom form and comes in clustered-flowered or in small clusters. ‘The Endeavour’ rose plant bred in the United Kingdom (or possibly Australia) before 2005 can grow up to 1.2 m in height and 1 m in width.
The name derived from Lieutenant James Cook’s first voyage on ‘The Endeavour’ discovering Australia and New Zealand from 1769 to 1771.
